Wayne practices corporate/commercial and business law. He joined Papazian Heisey Myers as an associate in 2016. Prior to joining PHM, Wayne was an associate at a boutique business law firm.

Wayne frequently advises clients about tax driven corporate restructuring and complex merger and acquisition transactions. Companies regularly seek Wayne's advice for legal and business implications related to acquiring or selling businesses by way of share or asset purchase and sale. As a trade-mark agent, Wayne has registered trade-marks on behalf of corporations in Canada and the U.S. and he has protected client's interest in such trade- marks from infringements.

Wayne has significant experience working with a variety of businesses, which includes technology companies. He advises clients on matters related to the development, protection and dissemination of technology, such as technology integration, acquisition, licensing, distribution, maintenance and support, open source software and anti-spam regulations.

When Wayne held the role of legal counsel at Queen's University and Mount Sinai Hospital in their commercialization and technology transfer departments, he drafted, negotiated and reviewed research, clinical trial, grant, data transfer, confidentiality, publication, equipment and property lease agreements..

In addition to technology companies, Wayne's client base is comprised of media companies and financial consulting firms. He also supports health practitioners such as dentists, medical doctors, and chiropractic practices. Companies have utilized Wayne's corporate and regulatory expertise throughout the process to become licensed producers of medicinal marijuana under the Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations. Wayne also, regularly updates such companies about legislative advancements towards the legalization of marijuana and emerging business trends in this industry.
